Seriously, some of you guys don't get it. You don't work with medical or lab professions so I would give the benefit of doubt. Have you ever read handwashing procedures in a hospital before?

Doctors don't have sex? What?

Do they include washing the seat before you sit on it? :hmm:

See, it's not an apt analogy. I've had my tongue in my G/F's ass a hundred times. Not a problem. Touching a doorknob right after some disgusting douchebag has scratched his junk and wiped his gnarley ass and left using that same doorknob without washing his crusty hands? THAT I have a problem with.
you're significantly more likely to contract something from sticking your tongue up your girlfriend's butthole than touching a doorknob.

That one is a little too far. I don't do that but eh whatever rocks the other guy's boats.

For the naysayers. This is a standard example of hand washing in those environments.

* Use warm water to wet the hands.
* Apply lotion soap.
* Work up a good lather.
* Apply with vigorous contact on all surfaces of the hands.
* Wash hands for at least 15 seconds.
* Rinse, avoid splashing.
* Keep hands down so that run off will go into the sink and not down the arm.
* Dry hands well with paper towels and use the paper towels to turn off the faucet.
* Discard the paper towels into the appropriate container.

Seems a little too much now doesn't it? It's just basic common medical sense. You want to reduce the least amount of possible transmission.

Yeah there's an extreme to where it's overkill and basic OCD / germophobia and what have you's but there's a fine line before there and keeping within sanitary habits.

Honestly I'm at a loss for words here. Your comparing handwashing procedures in a hospital to everyday people washing their hands (or not washing their hands) in a public bathroom? Really? You can't figure out why it's more important to wash your hands when you're a Doctor or Nurse working in a hospital?

Do you also wear a facemask, cap, and gown (or smock, whatever it is that Doctors wear) at your job? Do you have a nurse hand you a sterile pen and pad of paper every time you need to take notes? Your analogy is absurd.

Yeah the whole "LOL how do you touch your gf's ass if you can't even sit on a shit stained, barfed on, pissed on toilet!!???" argument is laughable.

LOL but I guess its the "manly" thing to do according to ATOT. If you don't set your bare ass on that shit filth seat or walk out of the bathroom not washing your hands after wiping your ass and touching every door handle/lever in there, you must be some sort of pussy!

lol @ ATOT tough guys.

If you had followed the thread correctly, I said I WORKED in those environments and this is why I do what I do. RTFT, dude!

You know what I meant. Your suggesting that everyone follow hospital hygiene procedures, it's absurd.

just out of curiosity, what exactly do you think is going to happen to you from your butt cheeks sitting on a spec of dried urine that a toilet paper barrier is going to magically protect you against?

There's nothing wrong with wiping down the seat and using some TP to cover the seat if it looks a little gross. Washing the seat down with soap and water is a little strange. Thinking that its cleaner to lick your girlfriends ass than it is touching a bathroom door handle is silly.

You're missing the point. For me, it's not about contracting something. Trust me when I tell you this Dude, if there is anything I can contact from ANYWHERE on my G/F's body, I've already got it. The point is, I don't want to get your gnarley scrote sweat or ass butter on me, OK? Is that alright? You would think people would be more curtious about it and WASH THEIR FREAKING HANDS before they touched the doorknob, but apparently, that's for pussies.

Are you suggesting that I quit buttering my ass? WELL I WON'T HEAR OF IT!

I agree, washing the seat is ridiculous.

But there are people in this thread talking shit on those of us who just use a paper ass gasket and wash their hands after and avoid touching handles/levers. I don't see anything wrong with that.

That's because you're a freak. Obsessed about something that won't harm you. You have this wonderful organ to protect the baddies from getting to you. It's called SKIN.

OCD is a true mental illness. Seek help. Please. I'm pretty sure they have medication for people with your condition.

I'd rank covering a clean seat in toilet paper alongside being paranoid about MSG in terms of silliness.

Whatever you all do is better than the hadjis out here, they fill up a bottle of water and go into the toilet. Wipe their ass with their hand and then wash their hand off with that bottle of water. Maybe their ass too since they leave water all over the toilet seat and usually the empty bottle right there too.

Don't even get started on the squatty potties. Porta Jons absolutely filled with piss and shit all on the ground level. Some of the nastiest stuff around. Since they don't sit, they squat. Shit everywhere in normal porta jons.

Wag bags are more sanitary.

And do you wear slipper to public baths? I sure the hell do. I don't want to catch some nasty fungus someone's been spreading around. Skin won't protect you from that.

so basically, wash your hands?

i don't think anyone is debating that.

what we are debating is whether it's necessary to jump around like a fucking moron trying to press down the toilet flush thing with your foot or to man up, use your finger(s), and then wash your hands well afterwards.

Lol, Toilet elitists, only on ATOT

That said, I never poop on public toilets, I think they are disgusting and theres no way Id sit in one, but again, its because I think public toilets are disgusting, not because Im afraid to catch some illness!! LOL

Thats what makes this thread hilarious... The whole germs talk, seriously? You better start wearing masks every time you go out, Im pretty sure the air is too polluted for someone that flushes the toilet with their foot

Wasn't sure what exactly people are arguing about. The process of taking tedious methods or what, everyone was calling out everyone and I have no idea who was referring to my methods. I don't do the whole toilet washing bit.

I've used my foot on the lever in public places prior to microbio courses. I first thought of doing that before when it all started back some time where an urinal had a push button ~4+ ft high. Ever since then I've been using legpower for these ultimate reaches, probably a good thing for practice so I can roundhouse you crazy mofos to the head if it called for it .

Wow, bunch of crazies here. No wonder everyone is becoming allergic to every little thing in the world, you're all scared to touch anything.
