I wonder if that's the same Sidewinder Computers from back in the day...I ordered a lot from them.

It looks like your old pump was 1/2" so it would be compatible, however; I am not sure on the clamps you have. Usually that can be an issue if going to a better pump.

FrozenCPU should be able to tell you if a high capacity pump would work ok.

Usually if you are going to replace a pump, replace the tubing too.

I don't do water cooling, but it's pretty neat to me (avoiding cool as a pun).

Your pump situation is a little different than what I was expecting, since your pump lives inside the reservoir if you wanted a pain free way to swap it you'd need another 750 or pump that's rather small but can also be mounted inside of a reservoir. The pump you picked out, while a popular model, has a little dial that would allow water to seep into its electronics so no go on that. That and I believe the pump is too large for the reservoir but not sure on that (despite owning one).

If you're looking to just swap out the pump, slim pickings from what I can tell. If you have the caps or fittings to seal off all but the intake and output outlets, you could just add the pump somewhere in-line in your loop.

ok that all makes sense. I am more then willing to get a new reservoir but I don't know how to tell which reservoir goes with which pump. would you explain or send me to a site that does.

You can make almost any combination of reservoir and pump. The cheapest reservoir you can get is the Swiftech MCRES Micro Revision 2. Bear in mind that the reservoir has to be at the inlet of the pump, to prevent it from running dry.

If you don't want to spend the money on a new reservoir, you could still make do with the old one with a new pump. XSPC specified that there is a spare port that can be used for draining, which could function as an outlet to the pump. The original pump outlet needs to be plugged for this to work.

ok I think I got this.

Pump: http://www.swiftech.com/mcp35x12vdcpump.aspx

Resevoir: http://www.swiftech.com/mcp35xreservoir.aspx

Fittings: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...n_Fitting_-_Chrome.html?id=297NarLf&mv_pc=154

Coolant: http://www.swiftech.com/Hydrx-PM2coolant.aspx

Optional cooling for pump: http://www.swiftech.com/MCP35X-HS.aspx

2nd Radiator: http://www.swiftech.com/mcr120-qp-stack.aspx

Ok this is how I think the setup should go.

Pump ---> Vreg -----> single Radiator ------> cpu -------> dual radiator ------> pump

Prices
Pump $100.00
Resevoir $30.00
Fittings $5.00
Coolant $5.00
2nd Radiator $30.00
cooling for pump $20.00

So 190 bucks total.

Response to dma0991. I would rather have the new pump connected directly to my reservoir just to make sure it doesn't end up running dry.

not all silver is the same...

i was talking to skinnee last night because it seems all vendors have added a exclusion clause to there warrenty in regards to silver and nickel platting.

Make sure the product is .99999% silver... its not sterling silver.

Also, if ur running a block with a steel injector, be very careful.
A steel injector would be like something from a koolance 380, or a EK Supremacy.

Seems like Silver can react with a steel injector, and if the injector isn't a high grade stainless steel, it can cause black residue to collect on your pins.
