To be exact, the Puppies finished their 3rd week on 12/7. The breeder seemed to think she would be fine to come home at the end of week 5 (12/21). Should I press her to keep the puppy for a bit longer? I felt like I could trust the breeders judgement. Maybe I was wrong.
I will definitely be taking the puppy to my local vet on pick-up day. If there is a problem, I will simply void my check and return the puppy.
I might have been a little harsh but ppl do seperate pup-dogs too early.
A trip to the vet is a must. The breeder should have administered the first of the de-worming liquid. The pup will need a second or third round of that stuff. Pups get worms from mom's milk...This is true of domestics.
I live in SoCal and Mexican puppy mills are smuggling in unhealty pups everyday. They sell them in parks and on street cornors. The idiot buyers spend more money at the vet tending these sick dogs than buying from a home breeder would cost.
Good luck, your Boston will have the same temperment as a Boxer or Great Dane.
DO NOT over expose your new puppy during the holidays. Give it a couple months before all your friends get to play with it.
