I was a member of the Tom community before I came here and I did not like the shenanigans at Tom. Too much boot licking for my taste. I hardly ever go to that site now. Hopefully the sites will remain as two different entities.

Only time will tell.

What's the correct punctuation to use when referencing an internet forum thread? I used quotation marks and claim to be the person who decided that was the way to do it-if it has not already been decided by some other pseudo authority on grammar. I also take credit for ending sentences with periods despite false reports of ending sentences with periods for centuries.

What scares me, is how Tom's Hardware has been monetized to hell and back. I fear that is Anandtech's future.

Personally, I haven't participated in Anandtech's technical forums (only in off-topic and politics) but if I had, I think I would be very upset that my technical posts were going to be sliced and diced into neat little, monetized, packages, like Tom's Hardware.
