I am set on getting a new notebook before I start grad school next year. There seems to be a lot of sales of notebooks going on right now, and I am itching to pull the trigger and purchase one.
I want to spend around 1200 dollars. I can get a 2.5 ghz C2D with top end graphics for that price. I would like to get a laptop with bluray, but that adds another 300-500 dollars to the price, so right now that is not an option.
I don't have to purchase now; I can wait until August. But I am worried that if I wait until summer to purchase, the deals will be gone and the standard prices won't have dropped to make up for it.
Really, if I knew I could get a similar system with blu-ray in August I would definitely wait. Should the prices drop some (or a lot) by July/August, or should I just go ahead and purchase now?
