I was showing off some old photos of Bears...
And noticed... WOW that is a small Black Bear.
THEN I remembered a story that I heard the Old Trappers talk about.
The area was known for having the LARGEST Grizzly Bears next to the Kodiak
One mentioned that some of the black bears in the area don't get over 125 lbs.
Those small bears can scramble up trees and avoid getting eaten.
These pics are over 90 years old.. That's my Mom next to the Tiny Bear.
