Q: Anyone here own the LG Dare cell phone w/ Verizon?

And to answer your question. One of my employees has the Sprint version. Thus far, he likes it. Nothing compared to my BB but it looks pretty nice.

I am posting this reply from mine and so far I am happy. It is not a smartphone but if it meets your needs you should be very happy with it, and the Dare is not available from sprint that would be the Instinct and after trying on it is not even in the same league the Dare is much more responsive and just plain old works better.

Shit, I'm sorry. He has the LG Rumor - my bad. Just went to look at the Sprint phones and realized which one he had

I find that with my fat fingers texting is ok but there is a slight learning curve if you can get to a Verizon store try one out for yourself. If you go to the forums at howard forums there is a heading for the dare with a lot of info. if you have any questions PM me and I will be happy to help out.

I have the Dare and I really like it.
And the onscreen keyboard is fine although I do seem to end up backspacing a lot.

I just got one and like it so much I went out and bought another. It is, by far, the best VZW cell that I have had.

Light & small, but the screen is huge. You don't even know it is in your pocket
The interface is more intuitive than the voyager ever dreamed of being
The drawing pad is beyond cool
The reception rivals the e815.
Battery life seems to be great, so far.
The brower is very cool

on the down side..

I find that I too fat finger the keyboard
The touch screen is a bit funky, seems oversensitive at times and not at all others.

I did notice that when the wife used her nails on it responded very quicky to her light touch. A stylus may be in order...
