Q6600 board, need some suggestions.

I have been back and forth on this so many times, so many people have helped me, and I give back when I can. BUt, things have changed again. I have read so many posts about some boards being not good for quad cores, I am pointing to gigabyte now. But DFI would be interesting. Any suggestions for the q6600?

I just got my DFI board today and it's been trouble-free (so far). I still haven't pushed the board's limits but I got an effortless overclock to 3.1GHz and counting.

Thats all I needed to know, you got the DFI thats in the red Box? Thats all I want to push my chip too, I think, maybe a nudge more. Can you tell me your settings for that OC?

Right now I'm at 3.2 (8x400) with the voltage bumped up to 1.28V (below stock IIRC), RAM running at 800MHz and northbridge voltage bumped up slightly as well (don't remember the exact number. Check my thread in this forum for screenshots and more details.

Which DFI is that? I cant see your "My PC" signature for some reason.
