Q6600+DP35DP+XFX-8800GT Temprature Help

hi friends,

once again thanks for all ur support to help me to get my new Quad based PC. and here i need ur help again about my newly bulid computer.

Sepc for the system is here:

CPU: Intel Q6600 G0 (Stock fan)
Mobo: Intel DP35DP
RAM: Transcend 4GB (2GB x 2 GB)
GPU: XFX 8800GT 512MB (stock fan)
Case: ThermalTake Armor (normal cooling system with casing - no additional fan)
PSU: ToughtPower 750Watt
HD's: Seagate 200GB IDE ATA (Bootable)
Seagate 250GB Sata
Maxtor 1TB Sata
DVD-Rom: LG DVD-RAM
Audio: PCI Creative Audigy 2 7.1

i am not doing any overclocking. and everything is running with stocked fan even no extra fan was installed on casing. but i used my system and found that temp. is going high. may b i am wrong and may b its normal with this system.

i'll b adding some screen shorts. pls check details here:

pic 0001.jpg 0002.jpg was taken when i used my pc with window a/c
pic 0003.jpg was taken when window a/c was off and after running media play for 1 hour
pic 0004.jpg was taken when window a/c was off and after 30 min of above pic

i have also notice after last pic that temp was even 60c 52c 53c 56c for all 4 cores and while running windows media player. but later it came down as shown in 0004 pic

see if its ok or do i need to do something about this temp.

note: i am living in a country where temp nowadays is around 50c (gulf)

Are you serious that your ambient temp is 50C? If so, 60'c for Kentfield isn't high. If your cpu hsf is seated and installed correctly, there's nothing much you can do other than turning on an A/C or swapping the hsf out for watercooling/TEC. You're using the stock cooler?

yes i am using stock fan and room temp is 30C not 50C (50C i said max weather temp)

i have more pictures on same forum i mentioned above...

cpu was burning with 70+ while encoding...


need help to run it smooth and cool...
