Yes I just noticed that when I checked the link again. It was 318usd. When I checked this morning it had fallen to 294usd. After I posted my first post they raised it again. I will edit it.

Club IT may say "In Stock" on the product page but NOT when you add it to your cart. I just tried buying one yesterday 8/13.
There product page said "in stock", but when I added it to my cart it said the quantity I ordered (ONE!) exceeded the number available (0).
So... I think they need to change their code so it's >0 not >=0 to be "in stock."

I ordered 5 Q6600's from PCSuperstore about 14 days ago, all arrived as G0's. They were slow to ship though.

Man...I was thinking about getting this, looked at what I would need for the upgrade, proceeded to buy the other components and forgot about the CPU, and now its out of stock!

EDIT: Back in Stock.

Something similar happened to me yesterday. I actually got all the way through the order process, credit card number, address, and when it came to the final submit it instead took me back to cart and said I'd exceeded the number available. The product page said IN STOCK still, but the view from a search before clicking into the item detail showed out of stock.

Today though I just got this feeling, went and checked, placed an order, and just ONE minute later the IN STOCK notification emails went out. It went back out of stock in under 5 minutes I'd say. You really have to jump on these G0s, they go amazingly fast.

Hi everyone, I've been looking at this board for awhile for a deal on the Q6600, might pick one up in a month or so. Does you guys know the differences in these, why does G-0 seem to be the preferred stepping?

...because it consumes 35 less watts maximum (95w rather than 120w).

Anybody has any data regarding ZZF steppings? They are selling for $285, free shipping, but I don't want to take a chance.

Yes they are in stock at the time of this post.

I have one incoming. BTW I've dealt with both the above e-tailers before with zero issues.

EDIT- Allstar's price fell to 294usd then went back up to 318usd again.

Did an order with ClubIT yesterday, and they shipped the same day. They also appear to have shipped it with Saturday delivery. (just chose the basic 3-5 day option)

It's more like 10W difference, the 35W poster had it wrong - 95W vs 105W.

Really? Was it one of the last two in stock? Previously opened box?

I went there a few days ago and they checked the stock and computer system
and told me definitively that there were TWO Q6600's in stock, BOTH "OPEN BOX"
items, and that they weren't expecting a shipment of more for another 2 weeks.
