i called but likely since the same config can't be had for $609 any longer they likely wouldn't give anything. too bad this deal is gone i've been pushing it on friends as a really nice system. i got xp pro loaded no problems after disabling the raid in bios.

Maybe they're fixing the Exx50 glitch (just speculating). There's always the HP option using the DT1400 code (check chubby billfold, unless the coupon is expired). I'm thinking about getting the E6850 instead of the Q6600 in the HP...

Exx50 glitch? Dell doesn't offer any of the 1333mhz FSB cpu's with their Dimension 9200 / XPS 410 systems. I don't think they support them at all. We'll see them with the XPS 420 / Dimension 9300.

And they are still offering the XPS 410 (exact same system as Dim 9200). I think they dropped the Dimension 9200 to focus business sales on their new Vostro desktops.
