NOTES: Great pricing on quads. If buying monitor, computer or notebook may as well get the $FAR printer. Digital multimeter at $5 before rebate is a killer deal for anyone who doesn't already have a multimeter - everyone needs one in their toolbox! Video card deals are pretty good, before rebate price is similar to Newegg pricing. Antec case is my favorite. Antec PSU is a killer AR deal. Airlink+ is great price, but I've had some issues with their gear before so YMMV.

I locked your post. We generally don't delete, unless there's something obscene/illegal.

I was probably typing my post before you started yours.

Ya ya, now I just have to get over to my location before they sell out of all this cool stuff! Any one near Anaheim want to go shopping, lol?

what is sad is i live something like 30 miles from frys.

the hottest deal on there is that quad core deal, but the nearest frys has 8.75% tax, and it would take $9 worth of gas to get there, which almost kills it for me. i still am debating going hahaha.

QFT

It kills me not to be near one.

No kidding. I'd be all over that Q9450 deal at that price, even if it's OEM that's still a great deal and if it's retail that's an insanely good deal considering how hard it is to find them. That Q6600/mb deal isn't too shabby either even if that board is weak it could always be used for a cheapo build or sold/dumped off somewhere.

Until I develop the willpower to avoid looking at all these great deal @ Frys threads I think Anand needs to implement a "don't display Frys threads" filter option.

Just got back from this sale and cleaned up. Got 2 of the Q6600 combos and a 9450 along with a slew of other stuff totaling over 800, I just totaled it all up and I will get around 200 back in rebates. Gonna tear down one of my machines and build up the 9450 over the next few days. The 20 dollar zalman 9700s are really good deals at this price imho. Once lapped they do a decent job on a quad and cooled my E6600 at 3.6 admirably. The cheap sata dvdburners look ok as well. I went with my wife so any items that were limit 1 or 2 we doubled up on.

I got back from the Fremont, CA Fry's about an hour ago.

They are out of the Toshiba $379.99 laptops.

There were still around 10 or so PNY 8800GT's on the shelves.

All of the Fujitsu laptop drives for $49.99 were open box/returns.

There were plenty of copies of The Orange Box and World in Conflict left.

There weren't any more Belkin 4 port USB 2.0 hub $FAR (probably unpowered - this is correct) on the shelf (maybe more in the back, didn't ask)

Hope this post helps some fellow deal hunters!

Forget about the EVGA FTW board, how about an Asus 750i board? Newegg had it recently for $140 shipped with coupon. AFAIK it is similar to the FTW board in overclockability and using the secondary Nforce chip for extra PCI-E lanes.

I was talking to a friend about going. Unless he's going too, I'll have to pass. The Chicago Fry's will take at least 1½ hours to get there, so gas for a 3 hour round trip plus around $5 in tolls and Chicago tax is just over 8%. If I lived closer I'd be all over some of their deals.

Man, that Zalman 9700 ($20) and Antec NSK6580 w/ 430 Earthwatts ($40 AR, Socal ad) are really, really tempting.

But it's too damn hot to drive and the Fountain Valley Fry's is always littered with crap (both people and broken products).

Thanks for taking the time to post each deal up though

Also, some of the items are available online, but might already be sold out.

No mistake. Ads are regional. Mine is Chicago, and the 8800GT is PNY, 8800GTS is BFG. Got the paper ad right here!

With Fry's, it's usually if it's one store, it's all stores. For example, when a store opens with a "grand opening" sale, all Fry's will (and have had in the past) have the exact same sale.

The link I posted is for California. Different regions may have different items on sale.

For example on Friday, west coast stores had the Antec NSK6580 on sale, while Downers Grove had the Antec Solo instead. A big difference is that the Solo doesn't come with a power supply.

SATURDAY Renton ad, which is very different from the California ad.

SATURDAY Dallas ad:

Here is a SUNDAY ad for the Renton store. (Again, deals my change from store to store.)
