Question QB 2020 unable to print Invoices or Estimates

Hey everybody,
Hopefully one of you can point me the right direction on this one.
I killed an afternoon today trying fix an issue for a friend she was having with their QB 2020 on one computer. When trying to print an invoice or estimate the print dialog comes up so you can set your print options but if you hit print all you get is the printing screen and QB becomes unresponsive. Now according to task manager the program never goes unresponsive.
I have noted that in the print queue it shows the job as spooling and only ever transfers 1.26kb. Given time it never increases or completes. Also the only way to regain control is to kill the process for QB, which allows the spooling to finish and disappear (no print out though, assuming not enough data sent).
I have done the following so far:
-Printed a test page from Windows no issue
-Printed from chrome also no issue
-Sent the invoice to a different printer, same symptoms as above
Tried printing the invoice to Microsoft PDF and the QB PDF printer. Similar symptoms but no data being transfered.
-Ran Intuit's Hub Tools (printing repair, general fixes)
-Removed QB completely and did a clean install
-Emptied the temporary internet cache and increased its size to 1 GB

But I've had no luck at all. I did however find out the following:
-I can print an aging account report from QB no problem or a customer/job list
-It also has no problem printing the alignment page for the invoices

Definitely got me scratching my head. The other workstations have no issues printing at all.

Forgot to add, I also created a new company in QB and it has no problem printing invoices or estimates

I'm no QB expert, but in my older version (Pro 2014) documents like invoices are customized from templates (or can even built from scratch). If your friend has upgraded to QB 2020 then perhaps the customized layouts for her documents are causing the problem. Perhaps you should try printing out an invoice using 2020's standard default template. Good luck!

QB 2020 seems has issue with .NET 4.8 framework. See if you can uninstall it.

I'd come across the .net framework issue as well but it was a deadend for this case.
Might have gotten it narrowed down while I couldn't sleep last night , and I would saw your on the money PowerEngineer. I remoted into the PC in question and found the user hadn't been entirely accurate with me. There doesn't appear to be an issue with printing estimates, its only affecting the invoices. So I looked into which template they are using and found its pointing to a custom invoice template with no other options. So I added a basic invoice template and printed it that way without issue.
I've emailed her to get some more details, it seems odd that only one user would experience issues with creating an invoice while the other two work fine and this PC hadn't had any issues the day before (No updates done in between). So I'm thinking between the three people working in QB this particular workstation is the one that primarily does invoice printing, but we'll wait and see if that's true
