wow, 1.46 for 3.7ghz.

a bit too much if i dont say so myself. You DONT want to push these guys on air higher then 1.4Vcore real. And trust me on these. Even the G0's will get out of hand once u exceed that voltage.

But anyhow, my X3220 is 3.6ghz solid on WCG for 1 week straight.

My Q6600 is also 3.6ghz solid on WCG straight.

i throttled them both down now to a modest 3.375 because XS forums has finally finished overtaking clubic to be ranked #2. So they didnt need the 35-40k points my rigs were bringing in each day.

Any specific reason why ? C2D runs fine at 1.45-1.50 on air. I am assuming you are talking about the consequence of raising VCore this high related to containing heat, not related to damage by overvoltage.

Q6700 @3800 on water. vCore @ 1.5625 bios, 1.51 actual
Idle temp is 33c
Orthos load Core 0, 66, Core 1, 66
Stable so far but has only been running 30minutes.

How do you get Orthos to load all four cores? If I run two instances I just get cores 0 and 1 twice.

What is the point of this without actual screen shots to prove oc stability?

Its NOT a contest to see how high anyone can go. Its a comparison of quads and steppings to see the averages of each chip from what stepping goes where at what voltage.

I've run it on 16-way servers, it really pushes all your cores
if this has already been covered, just move along

F@H stresses more than BOINC for my experience, and thats what I run. It's SMP client has 4 threads, designed for quad-cores.

BTW, I edited my above post, and forgot to add B3 as my steppings.

some updates.

Q6600 (B3) 1.48Vcore Real @ 3.6ghz 400fsb x 9
X3220 (B3) 1.50Vcore Real @ 3.75ghz 417fsb x 9
X3210 (B3) 1.41Vcore Real @ 3.37ghz 422FSB x 8

Q6600 (G0) ES 1.5Vcore Real @ 4050ghz 450fsb x 9
<screen shots of this to come once i get my rig redone.>

All is/was under watercooling. The X3220, and both the Q's were recycled in my main rig. And i messed up the loop by swaping the CPU out too many times. >

The cheapest H2O kit was on the X3210, but it still used a MCR320 as a radiator.

Fair warning, if you guys need to push 1.4Vcore+ on the CPU, i highly recomend you guys getting water, expecially if its going to be loading 100% of the time.
