quake 3 servers and NETGEAR RT314

all of a SUDDEN I cannot connect to any quake 3 servers. It sits and waits at "awaiting challenge" inside quake3. I have 4 computers behind a NETGEAR RT314. This problem occurs to both me (192.168.0.1) and my roommate (192.168.0.2). I removed the router completely and plugged my roadrunner connection directly into my computer. It worked fine.

does anyone know if quake3 trys to authenticate on a specific port on my computer or has anyone had simlilar problems

keep in mind this suddenly just happened... This worked fine two days ago.

Quake III uses port 27960, you may have to leave that open for Quake to play properly.
