It doesn't say DVD version that I see so I take it it's the CD version? Anyone know how many CDs the game will be on? I guess it doesn't matter since you don't usally install more then once unless you have to patch it to death to be able to play it

looks like they raised the price. It now costs $46.89. Looks like I'll be ordering from Amazon.

Not to rain on your parade or anything guys, but I just read the PC Gamer review on Quake 4, and apparently it's not really as good as people expected, it got a 70% score for lack of originality and short gameplay time. Basically, it's just Quake 2 with enhanced graphics (according to PC Gamer). I am not sure about buying the game anymore after reading that review.

I remember not liking the AOE II demo when that came out, the game on the other hand i loved, after i got the feel for it. YMMV i'm sure.

Didn't like the conquerors expansion demo either for whatever reason.

I didnt like q3 either, but q4 is the sequel to q2 so hopefully it'll be good just
cuz of that. q2 was my favorite and especially the multiplayer. Im going for the special edition since it comes with q2 which I lost.

ive been playing for a while now, its actually a very fun game. great features. its fun going into slow mo and running up on someone then slide tackling them. or you go slow mo, pull out your shotgun and watch their body explode. the graphics are very good, my x800gto2 (now x850xtpe) even has a hard time keeping up at times, i have the game on max settings though :\. you should play the game in the dark at night with your speakers turned up. i think ive jumped out of my seat a couple times.
