you are just one of a bunch of people who claims that quake is the best BECAUSE quake is the best. aside from how moronic that sounds, the difficulty = skill doesn't hold a candle.
just because quake is extremely awkward and counterintuitive to play doesn't make is "better". it just makes it harder.
i'll grant you that people who play a ton of CA will have better pixel aim and reflexes, because THAt is what the game develops.
but even in TDM or CA, the average T4 player doesn't even begin to grasp the concept of teamplay. or opportunity, for the matter.
trying to get people in CA to help their teammates caught between two shafts - instead of hanging back and using rail - got half the community shouting how they would deal damage without taking any themselves, which MUST BE THE RIGHT THING, regardless of how much your team gets raped from being in numerical inferiority.
i've met tons of people like you - as i said plenty of times here already - your "skill" is limited to putting the crosshair on a pixel. anything which requires decision-making with long term consequences is completely beyond your grasp.
