Quality MicroATX PSU?

Helping a friend spec out an entry-level budget gaming rig since his is starting to die on him after 6 years and it's just not worth it to upgrade.

Here's the system I have so far:

mushkin 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit 996527

Intentionally holding off on a video card right now to keep costs low. As long as the games run, he doesn't really care about the quality. He's running with 6-year-old onboard video NOW and it suits his needs, so it's already an upgrade, but a future-proof PSU in case we add a video card later would be optimal.

While suggestions/warnings on the existing system would be great, that's not what I'm looking for here... I can't seem to find any quality MicroATX PSUs anywhere. I've never actually built a MicroATX system before, but I'm assuming standard ATX PSUs don't fit. None of the popular quality brands like Antec seem to make MicroATX PSUs.

Suggestions?

The case in question uses standard ATX power supplies, as do several others.

You'd save money buying a case/psu combo, like one of the V or Z series Inwins. The included 350w psu's are decent quality, standard atx spec, and entirely adequate for systems with midrange vidcards...

Alternatively, Zepper has some 380w Seasonic made Antecs in the FS/FT forum, and FSP/Sparkle still makes good stuff...

Heh, didn't think to look at the Manufacturer site for specs... I just thought MicroATX Case = MicroATX PSU. Thanks for the point in the right direction

Yes, that case uses a standard ATX PSU - also take a look at the Evercase E3505B microATX here: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=CA-3505B - I think that is one of the best microATX cases available and has 120mm fan cooling vs. the CM's 80mm fans... It takes standard ATX PSUs too. The Antec by Seasonic SU-380 PSUs I'm selling (click the link in my sig) would be excellent for either case.

If you're gonna drop $100 on an mATX mobo, be smart and add another $30 and get the Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R. Not only will it overclock much better than the mobo you picked out, but it's more future proof.

Better yet, wait a bit and get a quality AMD AM2+ microatx board and be even more futureproof. Get one that will allow 4 videocards! lol

That was probably meant as a tongue in cheek comment, but it would still be hilarious to see a CrossfireX mATX board, where all of the four available expansion slots would have to be PCIe x16 .
