Quality scanner.

hi,
i want to buy a new scanner. My purpose is only to convert all Old 6x4 inch printed photo into high quality digital image as back up.
Also want to know what to see before buying scanner.

it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. Most scanners will be able to scan pictures even the cheapest ones. Canon Epson are good brands anything for $100 should be more than adequate for the job.
