Time is the measure of the universe local stabilisation, unified
theory is only a local solution of the level at wich the global
field has settled his parameters resulting in the four fundamental
forces with their respective properties.
Should the global field have settled to a different local solution
that the universe we live in would had never existed , instead there
would be a completely different world with other fundamentals
forces in whatever quantities with all their attached particles,
physicals laws and life as we know it wouldnt be possible of course
since there would be nothing like electromagnetic force , the source
of life as we know it.
Higgs boson (and all the quantum physics as we know it) will be of course irrelevant as well, actualy its weight is the important number that will tell if we live in a stable world or in a long lived unstable universe that will ultimately collapse in a row at light speed in the direction of a more stable, read timeless, universe.
