Things heat up in the second half. It looks like next week, we'll see what happened in Nam that caused the ruckus when they got back stateside.

Spoiler: Summary

So Quarry and his buddy are accused of committing some massacre in Nam ala Mei Lai I suppose. They get shit jobs. Quarry has PTSD flashbacks.

Seemingly out of nowhere some dude shows up to offer Quarry the job of hitman. He refuses. Then offers the job to his fried who is down. $30k when that's more than the price of a house. What's not to like? So Quarry goes in with his friend on the job for cut but only as backup. Job goes sideways, friend ends up dead and Q kills an interloper but target gets away.

Now Q is into the Broker (mysterious guy) for 30k so he has to do a job for him. Turns out that the job is the guy his wife was cheating on him with when he was away but which he had no clue about. Q enjoys killing this douche bag. End scene.

Watched the first episode, looked good. Haven't come across a half decent TV show in quite a while, since Fargo ended. The Wash Post TV critic praised this one quite a bit, and he is usually accurate about shows.
