Question about a Graphics card?

I have been looking through graphics cards and i was going to get a Geforce 7600GT. But i dont have the $$$

I currently have a Radeon 9800pro 256m, with a ABIT KV8 pro motherboard, 1gb of ram and a Athlon 64[tm] 3000+ proccesore. I would like to upgrade my graphics card for gameing

THE make and model of my power supply is:

Model: LC-B450E

for cheaper price i can get the GeForce 7300GT but can i run it with my power supply
and will it run the game Hellgate london?

Depends if you want just the game to "run" as in it'll work at minimum details and 640x480, or "run" as in something like 1280x1024 with medium details in a non-slideshow performance. If the latter, probably not.

From the minimum specs, you could probably get away with it, but the graphics look like they would be similar to the load of a Doom 3 engine, except the environments are much bigger. The 7300 looks like it can run Doom3 at about 25fps in 1280x1024. I'm guessing if ~20fps is okay with you, that's probably what you'd manage with that kind of res.

Well that sum's it up. I guess ill have to scrounge up a little bit more cash. Cause i really wanna be able to play this game.

I just got done playing the demo @ 1024x768 with mid - high detail and 2x AntiAliasing with 8x Anisotropic Filtering and my system is the following.

ASUS A7V880
AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2400+ @ 2400mhz ( 200x12 )
2x 512mb OCZ Gold VX @ 2-3-3-7 1T running dual channel mode
BBA 128mb Radeon 9800Pro flashed to 9800XT

1024x768 ran perfectly with my setup and yours is very similar. My system did fail to run 1152x864 smoothly though but your card with the more memory may allow you to run that and maybe up to 1280x1024 with no problem while using AA and AF
