Question about Call of Duty

Does Call of Duty have a good single player portion, or is it all about multiplayer (like BF1942)?

Call of Duty has a great SP campaign, but it's kinda short. Well worth the $40 for it, though.

i agree with Blue Weasel. i havent had too much time to play it but the very little time i did spend on it, i was VERY impressed

Yes, it does have a good single player aspect, albeit short. I beat it in 7 hours. If is was not for the extrodinary MP aspect, I would have raised hell with the developers If you play FPS MP, pick it up...its a good buy and will last you months.

I've actually had COD since November, but I've yet to finish the SP campaign as I enjoy the MP aspect way too much.

SP is much better than MP. MP has sucked since the 1.2 patch.

I got COD just for the MP ... the SP started to crash my pc, but it was an ATI issue, which is now solved, but I'm way too immersed on MP to return on SP

Anyway, I wouldn't say it is an awesome game ... is more of a good game ... at least on MP. They made a bad move on some of the 1.3 patch changes, mainly on the sniper aim (no more random-movement when zooming in, which makes zoom-and-shot much more quick and easy ). Oh, and it REALLY lacks some sort of punkbuster for keeping cheaters on a distance (as possible, anyway).

But it's still a good game, MP is fun, but if would only have the kind of categories ET had (medic, soldier, engineer, lieutenant) ... ah ... that would make it a awesome game indeed

But I believe that it's a good game to get now ... I don't know if FarCry beats it on MP anyway ...

As a fan of MOH SP who often found parts of it too hard and tedious *remembers sniper village and cringes*, I thought COD SP was the best WWII SP experience to date. Too short, yes, it's so good it left me wanting more.

CoD is great SP, but a bit short. They announced a expansion I think. I played the MP once, it was fun, but BFV is better.
