Question about higher speed ram.

If I were to buy PCxxxx ram for a system that was going to be overclocked. Now the ram is rated to run at a higher FSB, however when the system is first built and fired up before any OCing is done, the ram will still run normal at stock speeds right? Like, PC3500 is mean't to run at 216FSB @ 1:1. But will it run @ 200FSB w/o any problems for the initial OS install and setup before any OCing is done? Kind of a stupid question, I figure it would, but just wondering.

Yea I know, but I'd rather ask a dumb question then buy it and down the road and wonder whats wrong since I just assumed it would work.

The speed is backwards compatible, so you can run it at lower than rated speed with no problems.
