I'm looking for a backpack laptop bag mainly for travel(airports, etc). I have seen some nice bags at ebags.com. I have an Inspiron 8600. My requirements are as follows:
1. Big anough to fit the 8600
2. Roomy enough to fit my cd player, camera(small), toiletries bag, clothing( apair of jeans, towel and a couple of shirts), and travel/personal documents. And maybe a couple of magazines or books. Big anough but one that I can carry into the plane(cabin luggage size).
I have narrowed down a few bags at ebags but not sure. They are as follows:
1. Jansport Optimizer, $99 - Nice bag, looks great. A guy who has the 8600 said the pc fits just fine. Only drawback is it has not chest-strap or waist-strap.
2. Eagle Creek WorkSpace, $100 - Also a nice bag, but not sure if my 8600 will fit as the the product spec says it will fit 11.5" x 10.5" x 2" laptops. 8600 is 14.1 in x 10.8 in x 1.4 in.
3. Eagle Creek Tansport EXP, $80 - Looks similar to the WorkSpace but slightly bigger. Also not sure if it will fit the 8600.
Anyone here has bought a backpack for a 8600? Any suggestion? My budget is $100. Would't mind to shell out a bit more though as I have been through the hassle of lugging along a regular shoulder type laptop bag and my travel tote bag in airports. It is really a pain to drag the tote and stuff through the airport security(which i have to do almost at every airport just to for a smoke outside while in transit).
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.
