Question About Magnets

I was thinking about building a magnetic stirrer that had four stirrers. It would be a 2x2 setup (this pic is 1x2). 80mm pc/case fans that have a rare earth magnet with a pull force of 20lbs attached to the center.

My question is, with four fans that close together and with such powerful magnets so close in proximity, will the fans be attracting each other or putting strain on each others motors? No point in building this thing if it is going to burn out quickly.

Absolutely not.

Those CPU Fans will be fine being that close to each other. In computers sometimes those type of fans are closer. The magnets within the fan motor are pointed towards the armature of the motor. Google cpu fan tear down. They shouldn't have to much of an affect. If it worries you much you can time the fan with mag on and mag off.
