Question about new system

Got a question. I recently built an Athlon 64 system for cross platform testing. It has a Shuttle nForce 3 chipset and has 1GB of PC2700 RAM in the form of 2x512. When the system boots, it says Memory Speed or Memory Bus : 166MHz. Is that right, or is there something not quite right with the config?

that is correct. 166MHz = DDR333 aka PC2700

I figured it had to do with the DDR part of it, but wanted to be sure. Thanks!

is there a list of the PC2700 PC3000 etc etc speeds somewhere? I can never keep them straight in my head.

These I know-
DDR433 = PC3500
DDR400 = PC3200
DDR333 = PC2700
DDR266 = PC2100

math....escaping me.

seriously though when you shop for memory, it says the DDR speed in the details, which is of course twice the speed of the FSB it's running on.
