Hello everyone,
I just came up with this really crazy idea of shrinking my home pc into the
size of a laptop. the motherboard i use (pc chips m810LMR) has everything
already on it which is already saving alot of space, i could simply rearange
the cd rom drive, hard drive and floppy drive into a narrow square piece
that would fit a custom designed frame. The main thing i need to shrink
would be the power supply. I was thinking on completely eliminating the
power supply and having the motherboard run off some type of long lasting
battery. Would i have to buy some type of adapter to fit that huge plastic cluster
the motherboard is currently powered through, or could i saulder in some kind of battery?
any suggestions are greatly appreciated. i would love to hear about people
that might have actually tried such a crazy idea, or possible a website??
