ok, you know when Jack met the asgards(sp) for the first time?

they told him that humans are slowly becoming the fifth race...does anyone know what that meant? what are the 1st 4 races?

No. The Ancients were the first evolution which took on the form we know as human. Current humans are the second. Even though current humans and the Ancients before they ascended look alike, the Ancients are still more advanced evolution-wise in that they have several mental powers that current humans do not have, i.e. powers to heal with their mind, telekenesis, etc.

SG-1 met some of the Nox in the first season IIRC. They look like Hippies, possess "mystical" powers (healing and cloaking was the only ones demonstrated in that episode).

We don't know yet what the Furlings look like, though rumors has it that we'll find out more about them in the 10th season and maybe even find out what they look like. As for the Nox, they've made several appearances in the SG-1 storyline already. The first being an episode called "The Nox". Nox, yes.
Furlings no.
Nox look like us-ish. They are a peace loving people with powers like the ability to heal and make things invisible.

The Furlings have never been met yet.
