Question about sharing a connection

Will this Router act as the only externally recognized Internet device on my local area network (LAN) ?
I currently have a single port and hub and would like to replace them with this.

I now have a single port Linksys router and a 4 port ethernet hub, I just picked up a D-link 4 port router. The linksys router only shows up as 1 ip on my cable internet connection no matter how many computers I have hooked up. So before I change over to the D-link I wanted to make sure this will remain the same.

I am not familiar with a Linksys single port Router.

However, the D-Link Router has be connected like this:

A Cable from you external Cable Modem to the D-Link WAN input.

All your computers plugged to the Router.

Hub and ant other Router goes to the drawer, or to AnandTech Trading Forum.

If Cable Internet Provider uses MAC number for password. Original MAC has to be cloned to the D-Link.

Yes, that is the main function of the router. Every computer behind the router will get the same internet IP, but different LAN IP (ie. 192.168.1.x).
