Actually no, it's because he's a fringe candidate with non-existant national support. He doesn't stand a chance because outside of couple of libertarian nuts he's not getting any votes...

But feel free to resume blaming media black out, corporation, hippies, 911 conspiracy or whatever else tinfoil hat scenario you have in mind.

You might, depends on the rules where you live. Either google, or call your local voter registration office and get the rules.

Where I live, if you're a registered Democrat you CANNOT vote in the Repub primary.

I'm shocked he's not getting more coverage considering how entertaining he is. I mean, we cover Paris Hilton in the "news", why not the guy who advocates the dismantling of every federal program and agency? CIA? Federal Reserve Bank? FEMA, UN, IRS, Homeland Security, etc... He what, wants 50 states' individual governments to set up their own CIA's? Yeah, that will lead to coordination of intelligence in the country.

I understand people are fed up with reps and dems, they do both suck. But before people throw their support behind a third whacko, how about reading what he stands for?

PS: I'm only scratching the surfact of his unorthodox positions. We need a reformer, not cuckoo.

So your saying its okay to base one's decisions on the persons home state or political party?

Texas is one of the few states that by law reveals ALL SPENDING to the public via the web. What party is in charge of that state?

He wouldn't get any of the accomplished though. What he would do is disrupt the normal political spectrum, which I think this country is in need of. If someone like ron paul can successfully speak his mind, that means others can as well. He seems most well known for being anti-iraq war anyway, as well as accepting responsibility that US actions in the middle east can cause terrorism.
