I am trying to find a video that was a "mega-disasters" style video that had a comet which initiated a waterworld type scenario.

They kind of started with a flash flood in a desert scene, insane rainfall due to cometary debris in orbit, and near the end they had a walled city fail, and a floating city concept.

I want to watch it again, but I cannot find it... I had thought it was "Earth Under Water", but that is a global warming scenario... Bad, but not the full waterworld scenario..

any help? Google has not been my friend here...

How do you get Waterworld from a comet impact? There's a finite amount of water on Earth, even if the comet triggered monsoons that span the entire globe 24/7/365 you can't flood the planet.

this was one of those what would happen docu-drama things. The premise had to do with an ice comet busting up in orbit- temporary ice ring action, with the excess water enough to make a waterworld scenario actually happen.

(I was entertained, at least it added enough water to actually waterworld the planet, vice just the coastlines)

Pretty sure the effect of impact of ice asteroids with enough mass to overflow the oceans would fuck up the world well beyond just overflowing the oceans.

Yes. If it was entirely made of ice the dinosaur-killer would not have enough water in it to raise the ocean levels a millimeter.
