the reason i wanted to know this is, linux users are always boasting about their uptimes. so this answers my theory that linux users are always rebooting back and forth, so they can't really have an uptime.
Umm, many of us don't need to reboot into Windows for anything or have seperate machines for the few Windows-only tasks.
two of my machines at work:
9:24am up 152 days, 14:35, 1 user, load average: 2.04, 2.27, 2.41
9:25:38 up 142 days, 15:37, 3 users, load average: 0.17, 0.20, 0.39
