Question for those that saw 300

I was talking with a friend who went to see 300 and he was commenting on the parents that brought their kids in to the theater to see the movie with them. I remember the same thing when going to see movies like Blade II back when I was still willing to go to the movie theater....kids aged 3-8 watching a ultra-violent action/horror flick.

So, how many kids did you see parents drag in to see 300 with them?

edit: just for clarity's sake...let's call the definition of young kids as 10 and under.

I remember just as the movie had started, suddenly a baby was heard in the theater. I couldn't believe someone took a baby. EVERYONE turned around with a "wtf" look on their face to see where the crying was coming from. Luckily the movie was so loud that I rarely heard the baby, maybe three or four times total.

I saw a couple come out and a couple come in (ages 10 and under).

I took my 13 year old son.

A few were there... none that were really young though. I'd say 14-15 was the youngest there.

Then again, the theater I went to cards everyone who looks older than 25 when buying tickets to an R rated movie, so whatever.

A lot. I actually took my 15 year old cousin and my 13 year old cousin with. LOL They needed me to get in.

I didn't notice anyone extremely young, although I did see a mother with a little 7-8 year old girl run out 20 min into pan's labyrinth.

Quite certain the kids were doing all the dragging.

I dont think the movie scenes are no worse than Gladiator...my 12 y/o wants to see it and I noticed its on DIVX already (looks like crap on the DIVX lol)

mabye two or three is all i can remember, and i saw it friday and saturday night with diff groups of people. Friday night they carded at the ticket counter (and they were not letting people buy groups of tickets, they had to be individual) and then they carded again when they tore the tickets before entering the theater. Saturday they just carded at the ticket counter, but still individually.

I had been debating taking my 9 year old son last weekend, but I thought better of it. He's not sheilded from every little thing, but I didn't see the point of exposing him to it just because I wanted to see it badly that particular day.

We ended up going downtown to an Irish festival and had a ton of fun.....I can always see some stupid movie later. Spending quality time with my son is my first priority.

There wasn't a single one there when I went. I was actually surprised.

I think 3, but 1 is too many. At least 1 of the kids were being excessively noisy, finally people started yelling at the tards that brought them in. Some badass gangsta type finally started strolling out with their kid (complete with that oh soo cool walk). What a loser.

I really wish they would put a no-one under 10 allowed stipulation on R rated movies.

I saw about 5

and I saw American pie when it came out in theaters at age 16. I was so excited!

I saw some kids running around maybe 5-7 age range. I thought it was totally weird with the sex and nudity scene. And maybe the violence. But at least 5-10 kids there.

I saw 300 today.. there was one couple that brought their baby with them, but thank god it slept through the whole thing!

We didn't see any young kids. My 25 year old son took me for my birthday.
