Hmm, it's true Trump wasn't convicted of racist renting practices when a civil-rights lawsuit was brought by the Justice Department against Donald Trump and his father Fred Trump during the ultra-lefty Nixon administration.

He just signed a consent decree to stop racist renting practices without admitting guilt. Totally different. Just like criminals are innocent of a greater crime when they plea bargain.

They aren't. He made the mistake of taking things President Trump said and then lied about them to make them worse. He'd have been much better off just taking some of the stupid things Trump has said on these subjects and quote him verbatim. He didn't though which left him open to having it pointed out he's a liar.

No problem, it is factually incorrect to say that it was proven in a court of law that Trump personally approved of the racist renting practices of his company. He settled without any admission of guilt.

That's been a pattern, like settling over the fraud committed by Trump University. No admission of personally approving of the fraud by TU, legally in the clear.

So while there's strong evidence pointing to Trump being a racist con man, there are no convictions. You could say having no convictions is a defining characteristic of Trump.
