Question on Dual monitoring

I might be getting another 17-inch flat screen soon and that monitor has superior 2D as opposed to my current montior, the NEC 1760NX, 16ms panel for gaming. My question is, can I have the new panel as my primary display (windows desktop, programs, etc), with games loading exclusively the second monitor? I have a Radeon 9500 with one dvi port and one analog.

 

i've been running dual for years - and i've never been able to get the game to load in the non primary monitor

of course, that doesn't mean it can't be done...

 

you could make the crt your primary and just move your task bar to the panel - that way you use the panel as your main monitor and crt as 2ndary

A lot, if not most, of games do not take kindly to running with other apps.

Some will simply not run if dual monitors are enabled.

Besides, do you really expect do not have your arse perforated while you're surfing or answering e-mails? :beer:
