My 2 year old specs....
Addtronics 300watt PS
asus cusl2 Mainboard
512mb PC133
P3 733mhz
Geforce3 Ti200
SB Audigy
3com NIC
30gb WD HD
HP CDRW
Floppy
2x80mm case fans
1x90mm case fan
1x120mm case fan
Thats all I can think of that draws on the PS...
Now my question...
My son has almost the same setup as that except he is blessed with a Voodoo5 agp. With the release of Neverwinter Nights his voodoo's time is up. So I went out today and picked up a Geforce4 4400 and thought I would throw my Geforce3 in his rig. Well on the side of the GF4 box it says a 350watt PS is required. I have a 300watt. On the website it says 300watt is minimum and 350watt is recommended. Is this thing going to work or should I hold off and grab a better PS??? I figure since I have a old cpu and my system is pretty bland it should run ok. I could see a new PS if I was running a 2ghz cpu.
I know my system is old. New cpu's, mb's, Mem and ps's are on my list but I as long as my system runs good I will hold out.....
Thanks in advance....
