All,
I would like to pool together anyone who has some real world experience with VMWare ESX server. No, not the workstation version. No, not the GSX server version. ESX Server is what I am interested in. I, myself, am very new to this product, so please excuse me if my question can be answered by a Redhat 7.x or 8.x guru.
For those of you who don't know, it runs on Redhat 7.3. Now, my problem is obtaining drivers for some servers I have. I have a couple of Compaq DL360's (g1 and g2's) that I can boot with the CD, but I can only get a few steps in, before it tells me that it can't find the ESX CD in my cd-rom drive. Now, prior to this, you are prompted to utilize a driver diskette. I only say "no" because I don't have one. Therein lies the problem. I need a driver diskette(s) to support not only the cd-rom, but the raid array, video, nic, etc.
I would appreciate any help someone could offer. Even if it's a link, or a pointer in the right direction. Thank you very much for reading.
