Okay, nutrition is a subject that I'm not very familiar with. My questions are based on what I read and heard.

Say, man #1 consumes a meal with 3000 calories, mostly derived from carbs. (meal high in carb)
Man #2 consumes a meal with 3000 calories, mostly derived from proteins. (meal high in protein)
Man #3 consumes a meal with 3000 calories, mostly derived from fats. (meal high in fat)

Question 1: Is man #3's scenario best, since it takes much longer for your body to break down fat, opposed to carb, so meal high in fat will not make you as hungry? Wouldn't meal high in carb, say pasta, will make the person more frequently hungry?

Question 2: Since fat, protein, and carb have to be broken down before it's stored in your body, does it really matter what the food is composed of? Or is it, if you consume fat, your body will mostly store it as fat, consuming protein will be mostly stored as protein, etc.? I thought high carb diet will cause your body to store it as fat, if you don't burn it off?

Question 3: If a person wants to lose weight, by restricting the number of calories consumed per day (for example, 1000 calories/day). Does this person also have to watch out what type of food makes up the 1000 calories total? To control hunger from low cal diet, wouldn't it be better to consume something that won't make you as hungry?

Thanks for your input.

well I don't know much, but carbs = for short term energy/brain (brain uses exclusively some sort of sugar). Protein is for muscle building/repair and other stuffs. Fat is long-term storage, but since you need to "unlock" it, you can't really get back all of your 3000 calories unless you work out like mad.

uhhhhh why don't you balance it out like a normal person would. you can't just eat one thing and be healthy. i try to do 50% carbs, 30% fat, and 20% protein.
