Got my rig updated from AMD to this today with a Gigabyte Z97 UD3H Black as well as a CM hyper 212 Evo.
The cpu temps in bios hover around 53 C while the Intel Stress test shows it to be around 37-38.
When the shop installed the board as well as the 212 Evo they had to put the fan on the back instead of the front due to it not clearing my ram. My case is a Antec 900 and I think{?} that the rear fan is a exhaust fan instead of a intake fan.
If the back fan is indeed exhaust wouldn't that be counterproductive being that it is only a few inches from the Evo fan?
And would the system benefit from the fan being on the front?
Are these temps normal?
