Questions about VPN hardware

Hello all, I have a few questions and thanks in advance if any can assist me.

1st. We have one location which we have a Netopia 4622 T1 Router connected to our T1 Line.
2nd. We have to remote locations (cities away) and one location uses DSL and the other Time Warner Cable.
3rd. Are we going to need to buy all Netopia hardware to connect both locations to our main office? What are the possibilities?
4th. Do we need static IP?s for the satellite offices to configure the routers?
5th. Our main office has a Windows 2003 Server with active directory ( domain installed ), T1 Line, Netopia 4622 Router and wish to have our other two locations connect to our LAN.
6th. Will our satellite users be able to login to the domain and see our resources?
7th One satellite office uses a 2wire router from SBC Yahoo DSL and the other location uses a Linksys WRT54G to connect t the internet.

Q3 - don't need Netopia hardware, could use other stuff to route traffic. but if you're happy with it and it does what you need, then is there a reason to change.

Q4 - static IPs are required on routers to ensure routers can route traffic to other routers

Q6 - Yes if there is a route to your main office and they have accounts in the domain. May want to consider a DC in your branch offices depending upon their size.

are just a few. I use a Cisco 3005 concentrator at work. 18 remote offices none of which currently have a DC though several need one but all log in to our domain. That thing called money...:frown:
