I have a few questions. I am running an e6400 on ds3.
1. I flashed with the f3 bios from gigabyte?s website, but cpu-z still shows f2
2. I am running a dual sp stable, dual prime 8 hours stable system in windows, but occasionally bios will fail to boot and it will reset my clock frequency adjustment to disabled
3. to achieve 400 FSB and keep it stable I needed +2 mch, +2 vdimm, and 1.45vcore (I could maybe lower these some, I haven't tested as much as i should have)
4. EZ tune and bios both show similar temperatures, 40-47C system and 25-41C CPU 41C being full load with dual prime for 30 minutes dual super pi 32 meg only got it to 37C max < 3 seconds and dropped to 36C. I have a 40mm fan on the northbridge, because it burned my finger, now it seems to stay cool enough. My ram feels fine as I have many fans and very good airflow. I'm using a Zalman 9500 led for cpu cooling, and it is cold to the touch. Do I need to try to decrease voltages, or will I be ok?
5. After prime ran for 5 hours although it did not crash, it ran slowly after I closed prime until I rebooted. This seemed to be because it did not release the ram and therefore was using my paging file, is this normal/ok?
