Questions on iiyama monitor?

Well, I am about to purchase an iiyama monitor 22" model VMPro510 from a member of the forums. Actually, I am using it as I type this. My main question is do I have to worry when I turn it on and I see two red shadows in the left hand corners, then they fade away after 30 seconds and all is fine? My 17" iiyama did not do this, so that is why I'm wondering. Also, how would I tell if it is refurbished? I want to know from maybe someone here who is very knowledgeable before I ask/question the seller. TIA

I have that same monitor, and the left side of the screen always has a redish tint to it. I'm not positive this is the same as your describing, because the red tint never comes or goes, nor does it fade. However, having one side of a monitor with a redish tint, and the other a blueish tint is pretty normal. Most, if not all monitors will have that problem to some extent.
