Quick easy question

Can some kind person tell me what the color wiring codes are for american style plugs. I have a new system (from the USA)which I have to change the plug on and I'm not sure which is earth, live, neutral the coloured wires are black, green and white.

Btw....I'm only used to UK plugs !!

Where's all the techies ? ..surely someone can help me out here....I'm sitting looking at a brand new system and can't fire it up...talk about frustration
