I have a premium account that I use to receive payments from eBay users. I recently sold a high-ticket item this weekend and the sender was Unverified. However, I am eligible for the Seller Protection Policy and the shipping address is Confirmed. The sender's e-mail is also an AOL account and the address is legitimate. How do people even get funds in their account if they're Unverified? Receiving from others? So my question is: Is there any cause for concern in this scenario? I've never been ripped off on PayPal before, but better safe than sorry as I know it's happened to others.
So to summarize...
CONCERNS:
sender is UNVERIFIED
0 feedback rating on eBay (but ID has been around since '02)
RELIEF:
seller protection policy - ELIGIBLE
shipping address - CONFIRMED
e-mail address - legitimate @aol.com
shipping address - local (which makes sense since these are baseball tix i'm selling)
thanks in advance guys.
