Give us more details like laptop model and make. Most laptop ram is installed like EDO ram. Theres a lever to release it and it kind of lays into the slot and snaps in.
Most laptops have a removable plate on the bottom that reveals the SODIMM RAM modules. Most have slots for 2. Check your user's guide for the specs - it is also shown in nearly all user guides complete with pics.
It can be easier than a destop. Remove the plate on the bottom and the SODIMM slot is right there. No need to move wires around or worry about the video card being in the way.
Yea thats how it is. I was just wondering if there was any special precautions i have to take. But it seems as its just pop in and go play WoW! thanks all
