Quick Ram Question

I have an Asus A8n SLI Deluxe motherboard and It had 2x PC3200 512MB EL Dual CH Platinum Rev 2 Ram chips but 1 fried so im running on 1 512MB chip right now. I'm going to be sending it in but I might have to send in both of them since its dual channel. I have 2x 512MB 32X8 DDR333 from my old computer and was wondering if this will work with my motherboard? Also if it does would it be faster using both of these instead of the 1 512 PC3200?

Yes and no. The old ram would not be faster but would provide more memory and in that sense would perform better.
