Quiet alternative to Volcano 6? what would you recommend?

I've got a 1333 T-bird that stay at 44-45 degrees with a volcano 6, what other HS/Fan combination can I use that is extremely quiet and still does a great job of cooling? Preferably something I can buy, as I don't trust myself to change fan voltages to slow or quiet it down.

slk-800 or alpha with a panaflo if you have the money or a GC68 (5 bucks) but with the GC68 the temps will go up a bit.

Does the panaflo come in a 3 pin connector to attach to the MB or do I just connect it directly to the PS?

Panaflos come with bare wires. Although at some places you can order them with either the 3 pin connector for motherboards or 4 pin connectors for your PSU for a nominal extra charge.

GC68's are pretty quiet, but not super quiet. I had one on my Athlon 1.2Ghz and it ran fine. Ran at about 50C but that was because I messed up, lol

Naah, for that 1333, a SLK-800 is just overkill unless he plans on upgrading to a much faster chip in the near future. I'd second the recommendation of the SVC GC-68. The stock fan is quiet and cools well. If you want it quieter...order it with a Panasonic L1A 80mm fan. At that point, your powersupply fan will probably be louder. Important thing to remember is not just a good HS/F, but good overall case cooling. Use 1 or 2 Pannys for exhaust which will pull fresh air inside your case, keeping the temp down while not requiring a turbo-speed CPU fan.
