I'm looking for some recommendations on a quiet CPU cooler for an i7 3770k. The CPU won't be overclocked and I'm looking for something that's less than $50. I'm mainly interested in maintaining low noise levels. I currently have a Zalman CNPS9500AT for my Core 2 Duo E6600 that I'm replacing and am happy with the noise levels of that fan. I was thinking about just getting another one of those but I'd like recommendations for something better/quieter if possible.

Hyper 212 EVO then get 2 fans for it, not the ones it comes with.
This*
And two of ,

These*

Crap looks the the fans are out of stock, thats the best cheap fan I have found to be really effective and quiet.

p_monks33 it'd be a better idea to just get a higher performing heatsink in the first place than start replacing fans. Like any of these

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185168 300-1600 RPM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118054 800-1300 RPM

However, for a truly quiet cooler, without regard for overclockability, I would recommend Hyper 212+ $20 AR + Scythe 120mm 800RPM $11

Those are all good ideas, I was just making the point that the fans suck for noise levels on the coolermasters. There are sometimes really good air coolers with rebates that get down around the 50 dollar mark. The Thermaltake Frio comes to mind in this group.

For great performance and quiet go for the hr-02 macho. Make sure your case can take its 167mm height.
