Quiet CPU heatsink/cooler

What do you recommend? Currently I have Zalman 9500 and it is loud for me. Can't sleep with the computer turned on.....

Looking for a quiet one...not water cooling system please...

Did you use the included speed control? if you put that in, you can slow it down to be pretty much silent.

if your mobo supports PWM you can use the stock fan its not that loud..

Another vote for Scythe Ninja. It's designed to work well with little air flow and can cool most modern CPUs fanless given you don't OC like mad.

S1283 and if the stock fan is too loud then get a Noctua and you will be in business.

Nothing can touch the 1283 price point.
